Wow, did you see the preview for Wednesdays Survivor that aired during the Amazing Race?
Was that an individual immunity necklace hanging behind Jeff when he informed the tribes that both heroes and villains will be voting someone out? Remember the pre merge idol this season has been a wooden totem type figure and I certainly saw a necklace. I like how the injured James whom Probst said couldn't outrun his niece was having trouble keeping up with J.T. who was running backwards.
We may finally get some resolution to the much hyped confrontation thats been brewing between Boston Rob and Russell since week one. The preview showed Rob telling Russell, "If you don't have the idol you'd better go get it." Russell of course denied having the idol, and Rob said, "Well, its been real."
So what is going to happen? We know from last weeks reward that Rob and his "alliance(??)" beleive Russell does possess the idol, so it is safe to assume that either they will split the votes (a risky move at this point in the game, just ask Cerie) or throw the combined might of the voting block Parvatti's way (Russell's closest ally). Will there be a twist to where one person from the winning tribe at the immunity challenge will earn individual immunity? Perhaps, that would explain Tyson's comment to production that he, "feels uneasy."
I feel like the editors have somewhat dropped the ball on their coverage of the villains tribe this season. Whereas we've been privy to the hero alliances from the start we simply have not been shown who is in an alliance with whom on the villains side. Aside from the Parvati/Russell connection we have effectively been left in the dark. One would assume from the coverage that Rob and the rest of the tribe are all in sync. But is that the case? Hopefully these questions will be answered in this weeks episode. Interestingly Randy (I think it was Randy) said to JoAnn and Stacy in his exit interview that, "Rob, Sandra, Tyson, and Courtney were an alliance." However we wouldn't know from the footage we've been shown. If this alliance is in fact running things at camp villain as Randy suggests then that would make Tyson's unease a little more plausible. For if their is a twist giving individual immunity to one of the members from the winning tribe this week and if Rob somehow laid claim to it that would leave Rob and Russell with immunity and Tyson as Rob's staunchest male ally in a very precarious (spchk) position. Again this is all speculation, and maybe a little wishful thinking on my part being the huge Boston Rob fan that I am. Any way I predict Russell will play his idol and Parvatti will catch the bulk if not all the votes from the Robfather alliance.
Here is the full episode 6 promo in case you missed it. Note the apparent immunity necklace hanging over Jeff's left shoulder.
